Ever presents its Virtual Reality solution for mental health

On the 9th of October, 2023, Ever Medical Technologies debuted VR capabilities for mental health patients as part of World Mental Health day 2023 at Siam Paragon.

Ever, in collaboration with Somdet Chaopraya Institute of Psychiatry, developed three key mental health modules aimed at increasing the efficacy of current mental health treatments.

These three modules include: 

1. Set of VR-based, group-based, mini-games module targeted at treating recovering substance addicts
2. Anger management module through VR-based drumming lessons (drum sets and traditional Thai Sabadchai drums)
3. Stress relief module through VR-enabled scenic landscapes coupled with guided breathing exercises

Dr. Cholnan Srikaew, Minister of Public Health, presided over the opening ceremony, where he tested out our VR modules and praised the use of new technology in addressing mental health.
