On 7th June 2023, at Chulalongkorn hospital at the Red Cross, Ever Medical technology unveils its 3D Virtual Reality technology on the MDCU MedUMore learning platform, developed in collaboration with Chulalongkorn hospital doctors.

The VR-based training modules allow medical students to simulate and learn from virtual immersion anywhere and anytime, without the risks associated with real-world practice. The VR modules will also make training more accessible for those without the resources and access to the machines.

So far, two key modules have been developed due to its high rate of usage across patients:

  1. Dialysis Machine set-up and usage training simulation
  2. High Flow ventilator set-up and usage training simulation

Associate Professor Dr. Chanchai Sitthiphan, Dean, Faculty of Medicine Chulalongkorn University remarked - " I want to increase the quality of life for people around the world, through the use of new technology and innovation, enabling us to perform our duties to the best of our abilities for the ultimate benefit of the patient”.
